Power Tools

Power tools have been around for  more years than perhaps we think -  the first electric drill was used in the late 1800's (in the mining industry).  Now a-days we tend to think of Power Tools as being those used in the home and the more adult versions used in all commercial and industrial walks of life.

  1. Discount-Safety-Glasses says

I would like to ad a word of warning, when using any power tool be sure to use a pair of safety glasses. They are quite cheap these days. You can get them for 10.00 or less so grab 2 or 3 pair and keep them on hand.

People who are not used to using power tools do need to be warned about these dangers. I have used power tools and built things since I was 12 and I got a lot of stuff in my eyes over the years. I was lucky to not have an eye injury.

I always use safety glasses now and make sure everyone in my family does also. Don’t take chances with your eyes, wear those safety glasses PLEASE!
